Access Type
The access type for a user defines how entry into the application is performed. The
access type is configured based on the client organization's security requirements. This
setting gives you three options to access the application, as follows:
- Direct Access - Uses a combination of username and password. This is the default option.
- Single Sign On - Uses a single sign on (SSO) integration to access the application. This option requires system integration. For more information about this option, contact Helpdesk.
- Both - User can log into the application using either method.
For MSP users (Client Services, Finance, and Admins), you can activate 2-Step Verification, an authentication method that requires a user to their credentials, and a code sent to a telephone number (voice or SMS). For more information about this method, see Security Configuration.
