Add a Delegate

Add a delegate to a manager record.
Note: Email notifications that are triggered by actions are not automatically sent to a delegate. Each notification (or all notifications) must be enabled for delegates on the client manager record. For more information about enabling delegate notifications, see Enable Email Notifications for a Delegate.
  1. Navigate to the Clients page on the Configuration view.
  2. Click the Users tab.
  3. Using the search function, locate the client manager to add the delegate for. For more information on the search function, see Search for Users.
  4. Expand the Associated Delegate List section.
  5. Click .
  6. Click .
  7. In the Manager Name field, type the name of the delegate.
    The application automatically suggests manager names associated with the client organization.
  8. For billing approval delegation, select the Billing Approval check box.
  9. For requisition management delegation, select the Request Management check box.
  10. Select the Master Budget Visibility check box to allow the delegate to view master budget details for the request/engagement.
    Note: You must select one delegation type for a delegate.
