Custom Fields Configuration
Custom fields are additional fields that appear beside the default fields that appear for that client organization, depending on your role. For example, a supplier sees fields pertaining to their workflow, as well as any custom fields that are configured for their role.
Custom field configuration also includes security encryption as well. If your client organization requires more secure data, you can encrypt the field value in the user interface, or encrypt the value in the database (decrypted on the user interface) or both. See Add Custom Fields for set up information, or Bring Your Own Key Encryption for database encryption information.
It is recommended that you only activate custom fields that are relevant to your business use case. You can also modify existing fields for a client organization. For more information about this process, see Modify Custom Fields.
