Client Threshold
You can enable thresholds for contingent workers in a client organization. These thresholds are tests that can be used to determine if, for example, a worker has surpassed a legal limit on the number of hours that they are allowed to work in any given time period. The tests can also be used to track the number of days that a worker accrues in order to qualify for a company benefit.
Threshold tests are configured at the parent organization level, and applied to all active workers in client locations and operational units. The tests are associated on the worker record, and are run using a report. See Reporting.
Tests include pass and reset criteria, settings in include additional data when evaluating the test, and whether or not to make the test default for an organization. You can set up a test with pass or reset criteria, or both. Pass criteria is the upper boundary of the test, and if passed, information is added to the worker record. The reset criteria is a lower boundary, where information is not added to the worker record. The threshold test report reflects the status of the worker in the test.
- Hours Worked - Determines if a worker passes a certain number of hours worked.
Only applies to workers using hourly time cards.Note: The reset criteria in this test is based on missing time cards for a period (days), and therefore is configured in multiples of seven.
- Hours Worked - LOS
- Date Worked - Determines if a worker was active on or after a particular
date.Note: You cannot configure reset criteria for this test.
- Days Engaged - Determines if a worker is engaged for a particular number of days. The reset criteria for this test determines a gap in service.
- Hours Per Year
- Days Engaged - LOS
- Hours Billed
All tests can consider prior history of a worker. The prior history is added to the worker's record in the Pre-Wand Work History section. When a worker is associated with an engagement for a client organization, you can add a configured threshold to the worker record. For more information about adding a threshold, see Add a Threshold for a Worker.
