On/Offboarding Items

You can configure onboarding and offboarding items for filled engagements by client organization location. Templates for the items can be configured with multiple items and added to different engagement types, depending on the client business need. You can also configure a default template of items that is automatically added to a filled engagement.
Note: Onboarding and offboarding items are defined at the country level, and cannot be configured at the organization level.

You can also specify if an item must be completed before an engagement begins. You can also add any number of items for a worker to complete for the engagement. If the client organization has a compliance obligation to review onboarding or offboarding information for an engagement, you can specify specific permissions for that client and configure the information that the compliance role can view.

The workflow for creating these items is to first define the item, and then define the template that is used for each engagement type, or for all engagement types. You can also make the template default for a certain engagement type.

Completed, unexpired items can be reused between engagements (if configured). This functionality enables you to add completed items for returning workers. Reused items are automatically appear on the Onboarding tab of the new engagement. MSP users must click the link to add the completed item to the engagement. Documentation that attached to a completed onboarding item is also transferred to the new engagement.
Tip: If you reuse an item, but do not want to retain supporting documentation for the item, click Cancel when editing the new engagement's items. The item is still added to the new engagement, however, the item status is set from 'Completed' to 'Pending'. This allows you to collect updated documentation for the worker.
