Manager Settings
These settings are available on the Manager tab.

Show customized Help pages to Managers | Enable this option to redirect the client user to a customized
Help information page. Note: You must work with your program
representative before this option is operational. |
Show managers Launch Source Match link in the left Navigation | Helps the client manager decide which request type to choose through a customized questionnaire. |
Show managers the Help Me Decide link on the Create Request page | Provides the client manager assistance with determining the Request type required for fulfillment via a series of questions. |
Hide Reuse Recently Created section on the Create Request page | Hides the Recently Created section from a client manager while creating a request. The client manager can only create a request from the job title definition ( | ), not a previously used request, which might include modifications.
Allow Managers to add departments to their account during request creation | Enable this option to allow a client manager to add a department while creating a request. If disabled, the client manager can only select a configured department. |
Manager cannot close an engagement with an End Date in the past | Enable this option to restrict a client manager from closing an engagement with a backdated date. This setting can be enabled at the client organization level or the OpUnit level. |
Allow Managers to edit Start Date for Managed Services engagements | Enable this option to allow a client manager to edit the start date on a Managed Services engagement. The client organization requires the Manager - Non Edit Req. |
Allow Managers to edit Estimated End Date for Managed Services engagements | Enable this option to allow a client manager to edit the end date
for a Managed Services position. The client manager must also have the Manager - Non Edit Req permission. For more information about this setting, see Client User Permissions. |
Allow Managers to edit Quote End Date for Project engagements | Enable this option to allow a client manager to edit the end date
for a Managed Services position. The client manager must also have the Manager permission. For more information about this setting, see Client User Permissions. |
Allow Client User to Add Departments | Enable this option to allow the user to associate additional departments to their account so that the departments can be selected from a drop-down list when a Request is created. |
Allow Managers to link and switch user accounts | Enable this option to allow client managers with more than one user account to link accounts and easily switch between them. |
Allow Contractor/Manager Role | Enable this option to allow workers who act as managers to have permissions so they can perform tasks in the application (for example, create requests, approvals, and so on). |
Show Analytics Dashboards first in Reporting | Enable this option to display reporting dashboard before Reports list. |
Do Not Allow Managers to edit Bill rate on Staffing and Payroll Request create and edit | Enable this option to make the default value for the Bill rate set to MRM value. This allows for Bill rate to be locked down. |
Hide request Bill Rate/Pay Rate information from Manager during Staffing and Payroll Request create and edit | Enable this option to hide the Financials section from client managers in the Manager view on Staffing and Payroll requests. The section still appears for MSP users when hidden. |
Display Bill Rate for Managed Service Requisitions | Enable this option to display the Bill Rate. This setting is required of there is a Fee process defined. |
Do not allow Managers to type new allocation values onto Engagements | Enable this option to prevent a manager from adding new values to
an engagement's allocation list. For more information about adding
allocation values for engagements, see Cost Allocation at the Engagement Level. Adding
new values adds the value to the custom field reference list
that the billing custom field references. This makes the value
available for selection by other managers. Tip: If
the client organization is using a feed integration, this
setting can control the value format is sent to external
applications. |
Manager View: Highlight Requests when there are zero submissions after this many days | Displays a ‘flag’ on the client manager homepage. |
Hide Additional Information Page During Staffing Req Create | Enable this option to hide the Additional
Information step from client managers during Requests
creation. Note: This setting applies when creating a Payroll
request. |
Do Not Allow Manager to Assign Worker to Staffing/Payroll Request | Enable this option to disable the Assign
button for a client manager in Staffing and Payroll requests. Client
managers have the ability to assign candidates during the
interviewing workflow. Enabling this option requires the MSP
assigned to the request to assign workers for positions. Note: This
setting also prevents a delegate for a client manager from
assigning candidates to positions on a request. Note: This
setting does not apply to the mobile
application. |

Allow a delegate to complete requisition tasks on behalf of the manager | Enable this option to allow managers/admins to assign a delegate to create/manage Requests and Engagements. |
Allow a delegate to approve billing on behalf of the manager | Enable this option to allow managers/admins to assign a delegate to have their own delegates for approval functions (billing/timecard). |
Allow a delegate to do other approvals on behalf of the manager | Enable this option to allow client request/engagement approvers to assign a delegate to perform approvals for headcount, financial, engagement extension and threshold approval routing. |
In addition to allowing a client manager to delegate duties, you can set up the email notification preferences for the delegate, based on the duty type. For more information about enabling notifications, see Enable Email Notifications for a Delegate.
Manager Ability to Close/Terminate
You can configure the ability for a client manager to close and open request in the
Manager view. Permissions are enabled at the
request/engagement type level, either at the parent level or the OpUnit
level.
Note: You cannot grant permission for a client manager to close requests
if the user has the Manager - Non Edit Req or
Manager - Non Edit Req (MS Exception) permission on
their account. For more information about user permissions, see Client User Permissions.
