Field | Description |

Department | In the text field, enter text to search for the department, or select it from the drop down. The department is the cost center for the engagement. The application automatically suggests values in which the hiring manager is assigned (Departments section of the user record). You can click Add New to open a search pop-up. The pop-up allows you to search by department number and name, and parent department name. After entering search criteria, click Search. You can select one of the results to populate the field by clicking Select in the result row. You can click Search with no search criteria to display a full list of departments for the client organization. |
Currency | From the Currency drop down, select the currency for the engagement. |
Invoice Option | From the Invoice Option drop down, select the
invoice option for the engagement. The invoice option is used to schedule the processing of submitted billing items in the system, as well as tax calculation parameters. For more information about creating invoice options, see Modify the Client Location Billing Configuration. |
Supplier FLSA Classification | From the drop down, select the classification. These values are from the Fair Labor Standards Act. |
Referred | Indicates if the candidate was referred. This check box is selected at the supplier level. |
Billing Period | From the Billing Period drop down, select the
billing period for the engagement. The billing period represents the time frames (work week definition) where billing items are gathered and assessed by the application. For more information about defining a billing period, see Work Periods and Calendars. |
H-1B | Use the radio buttons to specify if the worker's HI-B status. You can also define this status on the worker/candidate record. You can configure the client organization to exclude H-1B candidates from being shown ( ). |
Sub-Contracted Worker | Use the radio button to specify if the worker is a sub-contractor.
For can enable the tracking of this information in the client
organization configuration (Resumes and Interviews Settings. You can also define this status on the worker/candidate record. This field
is used to determine who the employer of record is for a
sub-contracted worker. If you set this field to 'Yes', enter the
following information:
Warning: The sub-contractor FLSA classification should
match the FLSA classification on the request/engagement. If
not, further investigation/clarification might be needed. Refer
to the client organization's SOP for requirements.

Sub-Contractor Company Name | If the worker is a sub-contractor (Sub-Contracted Worker = Yes), enter the name of the employer of record for this worker. |
Sub-Contractor Pay Rate | If the worker is a sub-contractor (Sub-Contracted Worker = Yes), enter the pay rate of the worker in the this field. |
Effective Date | Enter the effective date for setup/changes. Note: When you set up the
engagement details, the effective date must match the engagement
start date. You can also click the calendar icon to open
a calendar pop up that allows you to select the date.This is required when you set up the engagement details, and when you edit any of the details. |
Justification | Enter free text for the justification. This is required when you set up the engagement details, and when you edit any of the details. |
