Bidding Events for Projects

You can create a bidding event for a project in which suppliers can submit quotes for a project. These setting create a window for quotes to be submitted for the project. For more information about setting up an event, see Set Up a Bidding Event for a Project.

Additionally, you can configure the event to display a submitted quote amount to competitor suppliers that are listed as sources for the project. The view is controlled in the client organization's project settings (Configuration > Project > Project Preferences > Quote). You can display the competitor supplier's name and quote to other suppliers, or only display the quote amount. For more information about these settings, see Project Settings.
